Is there some smog or smoke stacks flowing then at those hours, cause there is NO reasonable explanation for this..unless its something DN is doing..

c/p

I found this in a satellite web site. In this time of the year there some changes in the alignment of the Sun with Earth. When the Sun pass behind some satellites their will be some signal lost. This is completly normal. There's a web site where you can see at what time wich channel and satellite will be lost or with signal problems.

If the missing channels are local channels, you might be on the edge of the footprint where those channels are beamed. I have this problem with a couple sets of local channels that are some distance from me. I can pick them up at night, but not usually durring the day. A bigger dish would probably cure the problem.

Hi aanaa,
Was it possible for you to find the solution for the missing signal for channel 614 (pansat270, sat 61.5)? (without having to get a bigger dish as was suggested). Other channels are fine (610, 612, 613). If anyone else has other solutions, do kindly let me know. Thnx.

Inox
