My friend sold me 2 12" sony xplodes for $500 dollars, and i went to hook them up i am kinda broke so i didn't buy a wireing kit, i just took a home extension chord, chopped both ends of and connect one to neg. batt. term. one to pos. and then to amp. Then i hooked up amp to hu via some rcas, and also rmeote wire. then i hooked all the speaker wire from the subs into the amp speaker input thingys. it isn't working right my amp is a pyle pla2180. WHen i go to play a song hardly any basss comes out and something smells funny or something like its burineg. also do my subs need to be in a box...someone said they do but that seams stupid so i just used sompe bungie chords to anchor them down in my trunk so they don't move. please help i don't know what could be worng???
please stop spamming the forum..... i know this story isnt true. no one would be that retarded. if you were short on money you wouldnt have spent $500 on those subs...
