K hear is my dilema i cant deside between some subwoofers, i love alpine but i have never heard the typeX, have heard W7s, but i need 2 know if the alpines are gonna put out like say and i hate to compare them to W7 since everything seems to be these days, but the W7 or XXX (never heard the XXX heard there awsome tho). i am asking becuase i think the sub choice can make or break a system. Music i listen to is all kinds from metal to techno its relivent to mood so i need some serious SQ... or if there is another subsugestion please i am open to it all just not kicker bla... thanks
the type x has some nice sq but you can't compare it to the w7 or the xxx. i have a pair of type xs and i love how it sounds in my sealed box but i am looking to upgrade to a pair of 12 or 13w7s. if you have a chance to buy a w7 or xxx then i say just get those instead. i have heard the w7s and it beats the type x in sq, spl, or sql.
