Good amp for sub?

would it be a good choice to get an Audiobahn A4002T and an Infinity 1232W 12" DVC 4 ohm sub 300rms, and then bridge the amp so it puts out 400rms, but then wire it up to 8ohm? and about what rms do you think would be giong to the sub?
would this be a good solution, instead of getting a mono amp because i can get a good deal on it and am tight on cash.

Do this:

1) Wire the sub @ 2ohms
2) Bridge the amp to get 400rms

And you're set! * Just remember... if you decide to put the gain all the way up, don't run it @ high volume for a long time, you'll kill your amp! *

But it's usually good to buy a Mono amp or Class D amp
