LG DVD Combi - No colour on DVD's

I have an LG LH-CX247 DVD/VCR Combi, 6 months old. Worked fine until this week when the DVD started working only in black and white (including the DVD menu's etc). The video player and tv reception is fine and in colour...just the DVD component. I am not sure if the is a PAL NTSC prob, but we have made no changes to settings etc. Has anybody got an idea about what may be causing this? cheers Michael

Settings can change without you doing anything. My Panasonic DVD recorder advanced the clock an hour forward last week, like it thought it was daylight savings, by itself.
