well i got my Mag 15s in.... smashed! fedex sucks! everything is being taken care of though, at no expense to me. alteraudio is a great guy. for those of you who were sceptical about purchasing something from him, he is legit and really goes the extra yard. customer service hes an 11/10. kevin at ASAP is a really great guy too. thanks guys!

but anyway. while my subs are being replaced im drawing up box plans. im going to build a box for one now. and later on down the road add the second and another 1000/1. i was thinking of this. http://www.accelerator-pedal.com/ported-box.asp?Ew=47.5&Eh=22&Dia=9&Xmax=37&Vd=. 25&NumW=1&Vb=3.75&Fb=28&Qts=&Vas=&Fs=&CE=0

and then i was contemplating wether or not i should fire the sub back with the port or up at the roof. just thought id show ya guys. feel free to let me know what you think. thanks!

hey .'~DAYE£?~'.,

I plotted the Havoc on WinISD and it plots almost identical to the SX15.

Try 4.5-5cuft tuned to 32-34hz w/ 50-70sq inches of port. (the havoc's Fs is 32hz)

i know but id like to go lower than 32-34...
Im willing to sacrifise a couple dB's daily ya know
id rather have 25-28Hz, no higher than 30Hz

its going in a 2002 escalade.

i swear they pulled a ace ventura on my packages (if youve seen ace ventura when hes undercover as a delivery guy...)

i was very pissed but alteraudio and kevin from ASAP gave fedex a piece of their mind and handled everything.

they look awesome though! even better than i expected.

btw, nick (owner of SI), reccomends 3.5cuft tuned to 28 hz he said daily he wouldnt go any higher than 28hz and that tune is perfect for these subs. and he said going larger than 3.5 really wont get you anymore low end on these subs. he said 3.5 28hz covers everything from the high fast beats to EXTREME lows. he said 4cuft wont matter. when i was going to do 4.5 he said bring it down to 4. so i guess 4 is fine. so i think im going to do 3.75 lol.

alteraudio, what is your name if you dont mind. i thought you and ben were the same person. thanks for hooking me up with the deal with ben and kevin though. those are the guys that are going out of their way to straighten out fedex. alteraudio is still a legit seller as he hooked me up with the deal though so nobody has to hesitate! lol. glad thats all straightened out.

oh and btw alteraudio, do you have a website? just wondering i'd like to check it out if so.

Fedex is going to pick the 2 subs up from him. We wanted to get both just in case there was anything wrong with the other 15. We are sending him 2 new 15's, not using fedex this time. He recieved these subs Wednesday of this week, and should have his new ones next week sometime. He isn't get charged for shipping for new subs, or any other additional charges. And because of the inconvienance we will be sending him a little something with the 2 new 15's.

The subs were packed perfectly. They were in the same exact box that we recieved from SI. SI sent us the subs via ups in those boxes and they arrived in perfect condition. All we did was open them up, inspect them, and then put the back exactly the way they were. This was 100% fedex's fault, and had nothing to do with the way the subs were packed for shipping.

exactly. Ben, showrides, is not alteraudio, i was confused. alteraudio hooked me up with Ben and the awesome deal. from there on it was all ben and a little kevin from ASAP. ben is definetly the one who deserves 11/10 customer service. the packages were packed plenty well. just as any other sub company would have. well yeah AA does have that cool foam stuff lol. but the point is fedex played a game of football with my subs.

IN NO WAY WAS THIS SHOWRIDES FAULT! infact im really glad im dealing with him because any other person would have been like thats your problem now. and id have to go to fedex and complain and id have to pay for shipping. however i hope Ben doesnt have to pay for anything as fedex should.

sorry for getting you mixed up with alteraudio. alteraudio is a good guy but you, showrides, ben, is the one who did everything for me.

cant wait til i get those subs. thanks!

Yeah Showrides is the guy who sold it to you, i'm just the go through guy cause I'm cool like that, much cooler than Ben. My name is David, and if I had a problem with Ben and Showrides with an SI product on something that my name is associated with I'm driving over to nicks(20min drive, 15min if i'm pissed) and raising hell on him. I live 20mins away from Stereo Integrity and would be a dealer but I don't have a physical store so I was put in contact with Showrides and so far they're pretty damn cool. But you can bring problems to me too and I'll get them taken care of, I live 2min away from Fedex hub and they know me quite well.

I got shafted, Chad took care of it not fed-ex! I will never ship fed-ex again. It was insured also but they did nothing. They said that the damage wasnt donw by them but it looked exactly like Trevor's mag did. It cracked the basket and there was a big hole in the bod and one side was completely crushed. I might still have pic's if I can find them I will post them.

I'll have to remember this and maybe consider UPS as my shipper of heavier stuff from now on. Maybe even freight.
