I accidently blew up my brand new power supply that i just modified and spent hours perfecting...and to add to that i just got lit the fck up by 1 of the 200v capacitors..
damn that was quick Nester!! like I said its a whole semester on power supplys & the diffrent types. They really ram that stuff hard in 1 semester, you can take a whole year learning power supplies man! I had to make a step-down transformer and have it working for 1 or 2 of my labs. Its a bytch!
lol rovin i deserved that... and the hard part is it wasnt even my fault.i was checking somtn and 1 or my multimeter leades shorted somtn,i dont even know what all i saw was a spark and then i smelt burnt capacitors
then i touched the capacitor to see if it was hot and well i never smiled that big in my life...lol
"then i touched the capacitor to see if it was hot and well i never smiled that big in my life...lol"
^^^ lol
now that sounds like a physics 2 experiment; or even 1 of my eletronic labs! eveer had a "Cap-Fight" ?? --> throwing charged capacitors over the room??? no fun if it hit ya, nice good ole zapp!! we used those big caps, that held alot of charge; it was manditory we discharge all caps after lab!
BTW...i got another 1 from my buddy and i did it over...came out better 2...so im happy again and this 1's capacitors have covers over the top so i wont get lit up again...lol
