RCA DVD Recorder/VCR Combo & Directv TIVO

New DVD recorder says ALL content I try to record via my DIRECTV TIVO (movies, sports, live tv, etc) is copy protected. What am I doing wrong? How can I fix this? Are there any work arounds? Thanks!
