Whats a decent cheap amp 300W x 1 @ 2 Ohms?

The car is a 2004 WRX STi with kappa components and eclipse HU. My friend has absolutely no money to spend on an amp but he already has everything else needed to hook up the sub. Can he get something half decent for under $100 on ebay? |

Sub is MTX MZS1204: 300 RMS, 4 OHM SVC So my friend needs an amp that is 150 x 2 @ 4 Ohms or 300 x 1 @ 4 Ohms What is solid amp that will last a while. Used/refurb/new/whatever |

Depending on the vehicle you have you could find a spot where the amp fits and built a enclosure for it the size of the spot it is in so it doesnt move around. I have to let you know it will be very easy to steal if wanted. Why dont you want ot drill a few small holes? you can never tell they are there through the carpet. |

But the sub and box together way less than 10 lbs, so I'm sure there is an alternative to drilling.. |

That will prob be his best bet. If you want a seriously GREAT amp that puts out 300watts look into that soundstream |
