Juan Alligator Unregistered guest | At my house, we just finished the room over the garage and are making it a home theater entertainment room. We are planning on buying this[1] tv, but after that it is kind of up in the air. As far as receivers go, we are planning on getting this[2] one, but I learned that can only convert analog to HDMI if the tv can display content at a 480i resolution, and I don't know if the one I choose can. So, boiled down, I have these questions: 1) Is the TV the best choice, with picture quality as the first concern? 2) Will the receiver work with, or would a better one work better? 3) What speakers should I get? 4) Can I plug a computer, an Xbox 360, a comcast cable box, and maybe a dvd player into the reciever and have everything work with sound and only have one connection to the TV? The best is subject to the person using the term. 2.)The receiver will work and I believe is a very good receiver. 3.)What is your budget for the speakers? 4.) Yes, all it takes is know-how and by reading all the instruction manuals. |
