The problem I have now, I can see the ch number but no picuter or sound, the screen flashes and stay black. Also every CH the signal strength is locked. At the point I have no idea what to do. Bronze Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 61 Registered: Jan-06 | U need to align /aim the LNB's (eyes) on your dish towards the satelites U want...Dishnetwork 110-119 are most common..then U need to run RG6 cable to your receiver, and make sure U are aimed correctly and "scan" each satellite..next U need to configure your receiver..now install a disque switch between your LNB and receiver (closer to the receiver is better)...now flash the lateset software(bin 136 for the 3500) and upload it into your receiver...set the default keys...press SAT on remote and select echopackage..watch TV.. BTW...136 has newest keys in it and is an autoroll bin...U never have to input keys in it..new keys atomatically change and roll into it...BUT U MUST set the default key after installing/uploading the bin.. hey this spoon cannot get any bigger..U were given evrything U need ...now read! for dsscommunity problems and registration contact via email: atr-killer@dsscommunity.c*om or soullezz@dsscommunity.c*om |

Bronze Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 63 Registered: Jan-06 | Forget 61.5 ..its a another DN satellite with few channels..110 and 119 is more than enough satellites that U'll ever want or need.. USE 137 bin file...AGAIN,no need to input latest keys...they ARE already in that bin!..and whenever Dishnetwork changes the keys,they will automatically change (autoroll) in your bin 137 which will be loaded in your receiver...so U will NOT have to ever manually input the keys.. Keymaster is a UTILITY that U download and install on your computer desktop...it gives U the latest keys, IF U ever need to manually input them...its nice to have, just in case someday your receiver crashes or whatever..it takes 2 seconds to download and install on your desktop! So scan the 110 and 119 satellites (use the remote menu..installation...antenna etc) ...hook up the disque switch..configure the receiver (disque switch ports etc) using the remote 'Menu"..set the DEFAULT keys (remote-menu again)...might have to wait a few minutes for keys...now watch TV |

U'll have to SEARCH for the pansat 3500 original factory flash as I do not recall which one it is..I know its bin 221 for the 1500/2300/2500.. Go to [link removed] and register FREE...its the best forums for pansats..ask there for the 3500 factory flash...also they have best pansat discussions and latest files.. |

Bronze Member Username: LklivesPost Number: 87 Registered: Jan-06 | The DirectV (DTV) satellites are in the 101-110-119 orbits..The only way U can "pick up" DTV is by subscribing..DTV changed their datastream in April 2004 and it has NOT been cracked into since then.. IF U want To "test" satellite TV, U must test Dishnetwork (DN) and aim the LNB's on a dish at the 110-119 satellites where the DN birds are also orbitting..U have a long journey ahead ...good luck! |

One thing I don't like about the 3500S is that I can't see the channel that I want to add. When I use Channel Edit, Favorite it shows only the channel number with out picture. mugabe Unregistered guest | Struck a nerve!! oops Watch out pple there is a virus on some of the bins - the virus is called W32.pfini and it attaches itself to .exe files, not dangerous but spreads very fast on shares (networked nodes)and modifies registry entries - its easy to clean but its kind of an irritant scan the bins (dish-bev bins), Blacklist Uploader, Gtrom and the likes b4 use. Having said that my Fortec does not download or write any bins, it just stays at 0% and gives a download error.What is the best way out? I am using N283t I also changed the keys to the active ones but all in vain. |
