"We recommend using 3 DA7122 per sub and here are the sealed 0.9-1.25 cuft box and ported is 3.0 cuft box with a slotted port of 12"W x 2"H x 15"L tuned at 35 Hz"
Wow they answered your email? Ive sent them probably five and heard nothing back. I also need to know the mounting depth so that I don't make the box too short. If you don't know then whats a safe depth to use so that the sub should fit. Thanks.

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Eclipse Ti can handle 1,000 watts RMS easy if you have a good enclosure. If you're going sealed, go for 1.25cu/ft. If you're going ported, 3.5cu/ft. tuned to 32Hz is the way to go. Just make sure you build the boxes up strong or you'll destroy 'em with enough power to the subs...
I own a couple Eclipse Ti's left over from various installs and I grabbed the spec. sheet for the mounting depth.
Pelon: it's the same for the 15", just make sure you include the volume of the sub in those measurements... The sub takes up space, and the 15" will take up more than the 12", so include that in when you design your box...
i called eclipse and one of their techs told me that for the 15" ti a ported box should be 4.5 cu ft with a port that is 15" tall by 3" wide by 18" long, but he did not say the actual dimensions i should make the box. i made mine 18" deep by 18" tall by 28" wide and it sounds really good. and for sealed i think he said it should be between 1.5 and 2.25 cu ft (i think). not sure about the 10" or 12" eclipse ti though.
And I know what the Eclipse guys'll say, but from MY experience with this sub (which is extensive), 32Hz is better. 35Hz is just too high, and stuff like Lil Jon just doesn't come out like it should. After some playing around I got to 32Hz and it'll rattle your brain if you give it enough power... Just one 12" with enough power and a good box should be enough to keep you from seeing straight...
Pelon: they should retain pretty good SQ. And Lucas: I've yet to see something the Eclipse Ti's can't handle when it comes to music being reproduced loudly...
Two 12" Ti's? Oh yea... and then some, in a standard enclosure. If it's ported I'd save the $ and go for a 1200D. It's when you play with the enclosure that you can really give 'em the power. Full excursion requires approx. 1,000 watts RMS. So the 2500D could power those subs all day and not even get warm... That 2500D is an awesome amp for the price.
Jake: I guess that Eclipse makes hella better sub than Kicker. Thats a no brainer. I'm from Oklahoma so I'm kinda partial to Kicker, but I've had bad experiences with L7's. And now I have a bad impression of the whole company. There amps rock though. Way better than there subs.
