sbudnik1 Unregistered guest | I was wondering, what would be the best way to connect my laptop to my Yamaha RXV557 receiver which is currently running with two Polk RTi6s in order to minimize sound degradation. Thanks |

You could use one of these to connect the headphone socket of your laptop to the microphone in socket of your receiver (possibly requiring an adaptor to get the right size). I connected the cable into the headphone socket of the laptop and then into the input socket of the minidisc player. It was a cheap solution. I suspect the quality will not be fantastic but for the price of a cable it is worth trying out especially if it is only needed as a short(ish) fix. |
