I just installed my first component system in but im just kidna freakin out about the wiring. i have a memphis 16-PR200.2 thats rated at 100x2 @ 4ohms and 140x2 @ 2ohms. I think my compenents are rated at 4ohms (dls ur6s). Can i just hook up the xover and the amp positive to positive and neg to neg?
If you're worried about the impedance seen by the amp, don't. The amp only sees the woofers below the x/o point and the tweeters above it. It's a 4 ohm load at the amp.
Besides - what other way would there be to wire it?
