CDA-9847 APLINE HEAD unit 3.) ported dual 12" box 4.) now what type of wiring would i need? 5.) what amp should i get from ikesound.com? thats the only place im buying the amp from and its gonna be refurbished. im looking to get an amp that will max out the subs, or real close to maxing out( so it doesnt blow or ruin) |

Gold Member Username: Tdeaton1021Near Tampa, Florida USA Post Number: 1640 Registered: Sep-04 | what do you have against new amps? dont buy a prefab box. i will build you a nice ported box built to specs covered in vinal or carpet or your color choice if you'd like. for a small charge of course. alpine type Rs are good budget subs. there are others available too though. get them if you are an alpine fan. if you are willing to look into other subs let me know and i'll help you out. i do like alpine Hus but some people say the newer stuff has been having problems. pioneer premier does have good stuff... http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/3918 or http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/4139 or http://www.ikesound.com/product-product_id/3267 i know that the alpine and mbquart arent refrbishe but who cares? lol personally id get the mbquart and get the type Rs dual 4 ohm. if u choose the ppi amp also dual 4 ohm and for the alpine get dual 2 ohm. runing 1000w rms might cause power trouble depending on the size of your alternator. if you have dimming you need to get a HO alternator... if not you'll just need to run a 4awg wire back to your amp. and a 4awg wire grounding your amp. you'll need RCAs to go fomr your HU to the amp, and speaker wire of course. |

Bronze Member Username: XdreamSherman oaks, Ca Post Number: 36 Registered: Oct-05 | hey thx for the offer but i dont want jl subs or a used system. so u guys say get pioneer premier. what is a good hu by them? and u guys say get the mbquart raa1000? sounds good, but is that enough power for 2 type r 12's 4 ohm? i really want them to bump nasty outside the car. and im going for SQ first but i want the spl also. i want to change the speakers inside but i dunno what size i need for the 2005 impala and also i wanna wait till i get a hu to see if it will improve my speakers quality. is that a good idea or should i just go ahead and change them as i get a system? and if so what are good speakers for a good price? another thing how much would the wiring cost for my system if i was to buy all the parts i needed on ebay? |

Next it calls for 6.5 for fronts and 6x9 in rears. you can get the following Deh-p860mp$340 delivered, infinity refernce 6.5$67 del, 6x9 $77 del orion 4004 4 channel amp $188 delivered directed 1500d(refurb from ikesound) 125 = shipping that is just a bit over $800 and then some wiring, plus distribution block. |
