Hi, well I got my old school alpine amp running my 4x6.5 2-way coaxial speakers on it + I got my stock VW tweeters connected on the same speaker wires.. I know my tweeters have have capacitor on them to fiter low freq. My question is... I have a sub running on another amp. Should I run my in-car speakers with my alpine at hi pass filter or turn it off to have all freq. on? What would sound best? And my alpine has the gain control on it but doesnt have leds so I can adjust it... How do I adjust the gain without the peaking leds to indicate me??
