Silver Member Username: LanzarchampBakersfield, California United States Post Number: 282 Registered: Sep-05 | very nice and clean install rovin, i plan to get 2 r's my self witha kicker 1200, i fill the same though about the rear fill i find it necessary. i to tried it without the rear and it sounded like bass in the back tweet in the front wasn't balanced enough for me. but how is the sq outta those things, please tell me better than the lanzars im running lol, no but is it as good as the hype is. Idk about Lanzar subs but 2 me the bass is pretty low freq & the price of these Rs make it more than worth it . But i must say that I chose 2 go with Rs long b4 the hype started on this forum If i didn't get these i would have loved 2 try a pair of Daimond audio D3 15s cause its only $150 each shipped from onlinecarstereo.com & i think that they are ranked even better than Rs . Only been a few days since the install & i hardy ever crank it up 4 long cause the spl hits really hard on my body & my RV mirror gets twisted in 5 secs so will see how the alt takes it in time ... |

I finally took your advice w/ what you had told me about Chad Lee's older setup and bought myself a Kicker KX1200.1 and 2 12 Type-R's myself (1242). Still have them sitting in my room in boxes though... going to begin my own install this week (most likely Tuesday... no class :D) Still waiting on purchasing a box for the subs to sit in and Nate to ship me my HO alt... but just seeing your setup is making my trigger finger just itchin' to get crackin' on my install!!! How do those things sound because I can't wait to have mine in! PS - is your 0 key broken? Because in your posts I've seen and your profile you say 2oo1... lol? |

I cant turn it up too long (10mins), lol My throat and neck, starts to hurt real bad. Rovin can your RV mirror tighten up???? normally its a star screw in there, sometimes its glued. But I thighten mine up real tight! and I can still SEE during low notes.. lol |

He was SHOCKED ! - He even said its hard 2 breath sitting inside my ride & he's even more accustomed 2 loudness than me . ok now - how do i 'sound deaden' a steering column , sun visors & part of the headliner ! - LOL cause i cranked it up a bit harder than i usually do & both started shaking noticebly ! ...i'm just messing around , it really does do that but i can't take that spl 4 more than 30 secs so i normally play it moderately -lol....... |
