Jumper bars question

wigglyman Bronze Member Username: Wigglyman Post Number: 15 Registered: Dec-03	Posted on Tuesday, January 03, 2006 - 21:46 GMT Perhaps some of you experts can answer this question: I always see the warnings in manuals stating "DO NOT attempt to bi-wire or bi-amplify unless you have removed the jumper bars." I'm just curious, not being an electrician, why this is a problem...would it adversely affect the sound only or would it actually damage the speaker?

Bi -amping will blow up your power source, or just shut it down, if you are lucky.
