Tuesday, December 27, 2005 - 02:29 GMT ok i never heared the re,id,or morel but i own the 15inch aa atlas and imo it is awsome, it has better sq than any sub i've ever heared, and i think it sounded better than a w7 i heared in a demo room, and it doesn't take a lot of power i was powering it with 200watts and it sounded great and got pretty loud.

Tuesday, December 27, 2005 - 02:36 GMT well AA stoped making the atlas so the only way you can get them is to find some1 on ebay selling them, and the smallest they made them was 12inch. you could look into AA new subs im sure they have good sq and the lowest model i think only needs 200watts.

Tuesday, December 27, 2005 - 03:25 GMT hey sean hows it going? i would definetly give chad a call and ask him about the low powered subs hes coming out with ( i forget the name) i bet they are designed for extremely good sq. a name that came into mind to me was arc audio. just popped in there lol. i have no knowledge on them though. only that they make great amps and supossedly make great sq and sql subs... with ur researching skills id look into it. and of course you know the 10w6v2 has good sq but i think ur looking for something a little outside the box no? oh yeah, i juster remember ur rms rating... well w3v2? lol idk the rating on them. but anyways good luck let us know what u choose...

Tuesday, December 27, 2005 - 04:20 GMT I'd go Image Dynamics out of the choices. Best SQ of the bunch. REs are good for the money, but SQ on them isn't the best.

Wednesday, December 28, 2005 - 03:05 GMT i was just wondering, i figured that sub would work good in either application, and i would port that bad boy espically if it does 119db at 10hz damn i wonder how loud it would be at 20hz.

Wednesday, December 28, 2005 - 03:14 GMT You could port it, but with the 10hz reference I thought that was what you were going after. I wouldn't go lower than 25hz, personally. 25-28 will be plenty deep, the cabin gain will still give you good performance down to 20hz. Too much lower than 25 will have you approaching the subs Fs.

Saturday, December 31, 2005 - 23:29 GMT Hi, I need the same thing but with some puch too. And I can't explain what I want because I'm not from here and don't have a lot of experience in car audio so I can't explain it in term of decibels. I was considering image dynamics, JL 12W0 (or 8w3),cerwin-vega vmax 10", Mb quart R..E? 12", orion,Infinity... And what size is the best in your opinion?
