Sima ct-2 godvd video enhancer

Ijust got a sylvania ssr90v4 combo dvd recorder for christmas. I want to copy my old vhs tapes to a dvd. Can I hook up the sima ct-2 enhancer to an old vhs player and then to the enhancer and then to the combo as an oustside source? thanks kent
