Thursday, December 22, 2005 - 06:08 GMT ok this is what i have. i have a regular subwoofer with a normal type jack on it (the same one you use for headphones to CD players) i have a home theatre set up that has a subwoofer jack on it (the same type of jack you use to connect video/audio L/R [red/white/yellow]) what kind of cable do i need to get to have it connect the subwoofer to the theatre system aka little jack => bigger jack (all on one cord) -|-------------|= (where the "-" represents the little jack and the "=" represents the bigger jack)

Thursday, December 22, 2005 - 17:25 GMT A headphone jack takes a 1/4" phone plug. The inputs for a video player (Y/R/W) are RCA plugs. So it would appear you need a male phone (plug) to male RCA (plug) cable.

Thursday, December 22, 2005 - 17:27 GMT If the 1/4" phone plug seems impossible, you and I are talking about different types of CD players. If the plug you are describing is about 1/8" in diameter, you are then needing a mini plug on one end of the cable.
