Comparing the 12" L7 properly powered in a ported enclosure with a 12" Sx again properly powered and in a ported enclosure. Which one of the two would produce more spl? I have an L7 but it sounds like crap. I want a better sounding sub but with a little more spl than an L7.
the power has nothing to do with how well a sub will sound and how loud it gets really. It's the design and build quality. That is why the SX will win. If everything was all about power handling then audiobahn would be amazing! Not
Also remember just because a sub has a high power rating doesnt mean its always gonna use it effectively, some subs are just inefficient and power hungry.
