Wednesday, December 14, 2005 - 17:33 GMT Does anyone know what GPS would be the best for around $300 or less. I need it for my car and also for fishing in my boat. I guess I need a handheld or one that can be removed easily. If you have any tips, deals, or want to sell one let me know! Thanks Brad

Wednesday, December 14, 2005 - 17:39 GMT Garmin Quest. It's over $300, but probably the best in terms of portability and features. This however is the wrong forum for it.

Thursday, December 15, 2005 - 11:58 GMT I have the Garmin Rhino 130, my buddies have the 120. I load the topographical maps of the area where I'll be staying. It accurately shows, contours, lakes, rivers, islands etc. Real handy in a boat. It also has a north american basemap loaded showing highways etc. It also has GMRS radio and can send your position to another Rino. Great for hunting etc. Get one with the radio - and you'll have a reason to get another.
