DVD ,cable all displaying excellent. the FTA has been attached to all inputs ie s video, new cables excellent pic BUT no color. Is there something that the Sony can't handle? The pic is in full color on a regular TV. On the rear projection pic but no color. the tv about 5 years old.
Thanks..h3it3r It's possible and the setting is NTSC. The puzzle is that on a standard color TV the FTA is in full color so the receiver is doing the right thing. Also all other equipment i.e dvd cable box are in full color. The receiver is sending a direct MPEG2 signal and perhaps the Sony just can't handle the direct MPEG2. The Sony is about 5 years . We'll call Sony. Oh some one suggested going to the high end of the tuner ie ch 85..100 rather then using 3 or 4. We have an old channel selector box, used to receive channels over 13 and run the signal through this box to the TV , it may just work we'll see. The TV is in Excellent working condition, strange indeed.
