Sunday, November 20, 2005 - 01:51 GMT Neither speaker can really be called "sweet" in the musical sense. The Ascends are neutral, the Axioms are often said to be bright. I'd choose the Ascends, especially if you have a sub.

Sunday, November 20, 2005 - 03:07 GMT Its all in the design,but it some things that metal dome tweeters inherit naturally like symbols,Alto Sax,Trompet,trombone,triangles,just to name a few.But I have heard some amazing softdomes and some terrible metal domes and some terrible tweeters.Its all in the design and the crossover.
