And the only online one is Crutchfield. Sonicelectronics.com can't get their product from alpine since they're not an authorized vendor, so that raised the question of where DO they get it from. Right off the start, you won't have warranty. Alpine will not honour any warranty that wasn't purchased authorized. And type x's need to be properly broken in or they're well known for blowing. So if sonicelectronics.com or onlinecarstereo.com got these subs from a flea market or a closeout and they were demo models or whatever, they could already be damaged. Trust me, I know from experience. When you're spending the money, go the safe route. Besides, shipping on those big b@stards will just about cancel out your savings anyways. |
