Anonymous | I was thinking of adding a new sub to the RCA 500 watt 5.1 Receiver ($139.99 -WHOO HOO) . The sub that came with the system seems a little weak. Soooo, Can I add a new more powerful sub that has a power cord and has its own amp??? THanks |

Damian Gator Unregistered guest | Mikael, Thanks for the Help. I went ahead and took the RCA back to Wally World. I read several post on this site about problem with it, which I was also experiencing (during the playing of a DVD, the sound would cut out for 2 seconds once every hour) . It had what I was looking for, digital hookups and cheap, but it was underpowered (my Great room is 19 x 19) and I thought I needed to start over. I think I will be buying reciever, a sub and a center instead of the "Theater in the Box". My front and rear speaker are solid, so I want to take advantage of them. Thanks again- Damian |
