LowOnTheTotemPole Unregistered guest | hey, i'm fifteen and i was looking for a good sound system for my beretta z26.. I currently have a dual 2 step motorized(detachable faceplate) Head unit, but i was looking into some subs. I found a guy locally who is trying to sell this package: Thunder MTX 4250D 350W Amp with 2 12" Bazooka subs in a carpeted, vented enclosure all for $350 but i was thinking i could talk him down to $300. I was wondering if this would be a wise choice or if there is something better for this amount. |

Gold Member Username: CarguyPost Number: 5008 Registered: Nov-04 | Bazooka make bad/low quality subs. Nothing special about the amp either. I'd say $200 or less. If not, there are plenty of better amps on eBay. Audiobahn A8000T 800w amp brand new goes for $150. You will also find decent subs for $150. Try looking for some Alpine or RF subs. If you're really lucky, you might find IDMax or RE subs in a vented box for $200. Still way better than the one you're looking at locally. If you don't have the cash, don't try and buy everything at once. Try one piece at a time. |
