New member Username: FarmergogginPost Number: 1 Registered: Oct-05 | before i go and buy this lcd tv http://www.lowestonweb.com/Products/DisplayInfoMain.asp?e=3FC80ABB-C0F1-44C1-9BC 6-53364EEE2193 could some one tell me how to link up 5.1 to the tv and my computer? i want to use so when i am wachting tv and moives on the tv i listen 5.1 sound but when i am playing dvds on my computer i get 5.1 sound from it. i will be using a freeview box as well to wacth tv with. just to let know thanks |

Silver Member Username: ChitownPost Number: 393 Registered: Apr-05 | 5.1 to the PC requires a good sound card a collection of relatively cheap speakers that come with a subwoofer. You can look into Boston Accoustics and JBL for some of those. If you are buying the soundcard and the speaker set pay attention to the setup of the soundcard (set as digital outputs for the better speaker sets) otherwise you will not get any sound out. Now If you are watching TV from your computer you can get a better TV card that can connect to your satellite/Cable box and let you do what you are asking for. |
