I have a Paradigm PS-1000 that was given to me because it doesn't work. I was wondering if the PS-1000 is supposed to turn the power/auto-on light on for a second when you plug it in or is it is supposed to do nothing until the stereo is turned on. I am trying the narrow down what circuitry I need to look at.
I have the same sub - have had it since May 2005. The light on the front illuminates once there is a signal received from the amp. It then stays on until several minutes after the amp is eventually SHUT DOWN.
