New member Username: MarkdUK Post Number: 3 Registered: Apr-04 | hi, i know this is a rather general question to ask, but which makes of head unit are the best. the type of head unit i require should have: 2 or more pre outs high and low pass filters parametric eq mp3 playback i'm not fussy what brand i use, as long as it sounds nice. i'd like a unit that doesn't shape the sound when the eq is set to flat. the kenwood unit i have at the moment has poor sound quality, its only a few months old and has sounded like that since i bought it. i'm looking for a unit that has really high sound quality. i'm not bothered how powerful it is, ideally i'd like a unit that doesn't even have an on board amp! i'm going to use a separate amp for my speakers, and another for my subs. so the on board amp is useless. what i really want is a clean signal going to the amps, but don't know what makes are the best for sq. any info would be appreciated. |
