Platinum Member Username: GlasswolfWisteria, Lane USA Post Number: 10728 Registered: Dec-03 | by the way a lot of alternators only put out full current above idle, too. usually over 900 or 2000RPM. depends on the car and the alternator. if this happens mostly when the car is sitting still, the reason is your upgrades aren't helping, and you may want to use dedicated yellow tops for the audio system on a battery isolator in addition to the alternator. the red top is just a starter battery. not a deep cycle. |
