I have a DX700 kicker amp and 2 Alpine 12" type e's in a sealed box and a Alpine CDA-7873 head unit. If i have my radio on about...11 the subs hit hard and clear, but then once i turn it up to 18 they distort big time and get quieter. I know these subs can handle the power, what in the world could be the problem? I've tried everything i could think of. Please help!!!

you may have the gian/level turned up to high and you could look for leaks in the box too if you cant find any try playing around with different boxes just an idea im not a pro at this
