Monday, October 03, 2005 - 04:00 GMT i just purchased an xsite 1000 watt rms mono amp for $260 and a 4 channel 800 watt rms amp for $150. Anyone have any comments on these amps? on a scale of 1-10?

Monday, October 03, 2005 - 04:06 GMT i would say they are 5 and under, b/c you generally can't get good amps for under .75cents-$1.00 a watt. and you have a total of 1800wRMS for $410 i have a total of 1600wRMS in my car, and i paid close to $1000 for my amps. just giving u my opinion.

Monday, October 03, 2005 - 04:26 GMT But I got mine from a buddy who is a dealer. Those were his prices. He didn't make anything off of me.

Monday, October 03, 2005 - 04:52 GMT then you are fine. b/c they would cost anybody else twice as much. Xsite sounds familiar, but i can't put my finger on it.

Monday, October 03, 2005 - 04:54 GMT what else does your friend sell as a dealer? just curious. i can also get good prices on stuff like that, but back when i got my first amp, i didn't know them that well, so i paid closer to retail price for my first amp. lol

Monday, October 03, 2005 - 14:44 GMT the Treo would be under $700. and the IDMAX would be under $450. not sure on the actual prices though.

Monday, October 03, 2005 - 14:46 GMT but those subs are on either side of the spectrum. the SSX is for balls out bass, and the IDMAX is one of the best SQ subs on the market that can get loud as well, but no where near the SSX.
