i got a 1200w kicker amp @4 ohms. and a single mtx 9500 @4ohms... now i know setting up 2 subs in parralel @4 ohms will be 4 ohms... but if i connect it the amp mono (which will push @4ohms) and i only hook up the single sub... it's still a 4 ohm setup correct??? stupid question really but a quick answer would be great... thanks
if the mtx is a single 4ohm then one wired in parellell will be 4ohms but 2 will be 2ohms if it is dual 4ohm the you can wire 1 at 2ohms or 8ohms and 2 dual 4ohm subs at 4ohms or 1ohm.
