Unregistered guest | hey i have a 91 accord ex coupe.... i just ordered 2 12" L7 4ohm solo barics.i was lookin at gettin the Audiobahn A8000T which is, 400 watts RMS x 1 at 4 ohms, 800 watts RMS x 1 at 2 ohms... and if i got that id eventually get a second 1 for the other sub.. the sub specs are 700rms/1,500peak so is it a way to wire a single 4ohm sub to a mono amp at 2ohms so that, that amp pushs 800watts to that one 12? and if so that means it would have 800 watts going to it, so would it bust or no since the 1,500watt peak? |

Silver Member Username: James_gTN Post Number: 230 Registered: Jul-05 | Those are DVC 4 ohm subs. Yeah, you can wire one of them to that amp at 2 ohms. You parallel the VCs which means wiring positive (+) to positive (+) and negative (-) to negative (-). |
