Tuesday, September 13, 2005 - 03:02 GMT Cerwin Vega v-max for about $79 IMO is comparable to the type r. I am not a big fan of those type R's. Aslo I second what muddy said if you can scrape up the extra few dollars the re se is a great sub for the money.

Wednesday, September 14, 2005 - 04:02 GMT go check out some of the tests they are doing with the type r....the 10" type r with 2 strapped EDnine.1's hit like 151.xx....the 12" type r has been tested and proved to sound better and get louder than the RE SX, and the RL-p
