eImo Unregistered guest | its the software used to flash ur fotec and makes u get the dishnet channels go to www.dsscentral....com and on the upper left click on file archive then click on free to air then click on fortec ultra then download and install latest workin file on ur fortec. if u dont now how to do it or dont have the rs232 cable then have it done for u. |

I have panssat 2500a and it does scan channels, but when i go back to watch any channel, it says data is being downloaded. or, it says bad channel. what i have to do. i assume every thing else i did was right as far as turning it off after entering the new keys, set it back to factory default etc etc. |

aka Unregistered guest | How to change Dishnet keys: 00 or 01 Pansat receivers................ press menu go down to parental controls, and press OK press down arrow and enter 0000 thats 4 zeros now go down to nagravision and press ok now press the right side arrow next to the ok button 11 times until it says dish network now press the down arrow 1 time key number should read 00 now now press the down arrow 1 time using the buttons on the remote (number buttons, To type the letters into the new keydata, press the appropriate button on your remote: Audio = A, Info = B, Signal = C, Pause = D, Sat = E, EPG = F) set the key to whatever the latest key code is 8A C4 96 93 EC 79 9D 57 ....(example only) now press the ok button! then press exit 3x to exit the menu Lastly, on BACK of receiver (not remote)..power OFF,wait 1 minute ,power ON..this is a reset This is how to change your public keys when needed, these instructions should work for 2300, 2500, and 2700 pansats. ............................................................ |

SOL Unregistered guest | you will not get 100% HD quality with any FTA receivers since it doesn't have components or HDMI outputs. Some have s-video output and that's only thing that come 75% close to HD quality. Good luck getting a Pansat. |
