I recently ordered a Denon 2106 receiver for some audio equipment, but now I'm having doubts that it may not be powerful enough to power what I have. I'm new to audio equipment so I don't know how powerful a receiver I need to get to power speakers with a high RMS. Please help if you can. The specs. on the Denon 2106 is 100 watts per channel and here is the equipment I'm using:
-2 JBL E90 Tower Speakers, says the RMS is 225W -1 JBL EC35 Center Channel Speaker, not sure what the RMS is -1 JBL E250P 12" Subwoofer, not sure about wattage -4 JBL HTI6C In-Ceiling Speakers 100w max power
100 watts of Denon receiver power should be enough for the equipment you presently own.

Denon's ratings are quite honest. I have the 2105 powering up Klipsch Reference series speakers and could not be happier. The 2106 is the new incarnation of that level of Denon receiver.
