I got a 160 amp alternator kit from Excessive Amperage, and installed it. Now, I've done this tons of times... I hooked it up in the Jeep, and when I went to hook the battery back up, it melted the wiring. I've been messing with it, and I'm sure it's either the voltage regulator or the diodes. What you guys think? And where could I get a replacement? With the weather, the guy at Excessive Amperage isn't replying to emails... Thanks!
