robert r d r d Unregistered guest | i was thinking of gettin a 4 channel hifonics 100rms x 4 amp for my speakers tehres no real car audio people that i really know except bunch of kids who put cheap bass in there car so i was wondering how an amplified speaker sound different from a regular deck powered speaker ? just alot louder ? |

Silver Member Username: Infinity_addictSanta Rosa, California USA Post Number: 153 Registered: Jul-05 | yes, much louder, IF you have speakers that can handle the power. if you havent upgraded from stock speakers, yer gunna blow em giving em that much power. most aftermarket HUs give somewhere around 20W RMS to each channel. most newer cars' stocks can handle that, but will melt/blow if overpowered that much. |
