It will sound good at low levels, but you're getting tricky underpowering by 200W! I mean, if it were 50-100, it wouldn't be so bad, but that's 200!

Even if you run your subs at with a combind ohm load of 2 ohms, that gets evenly divided among both subs. So 400WRMS/2 Subs = 200WRMS each. The subs are 400W RMS. Clipping is distortiong sent to the subs from an overdriven/cheap amp.
James Goodman Bronze Member Username: James_g TN Post Number: 81 Registered: Jul-05	Posted on Wednesday, August 24, 2005 - 02:43 GMT You need an 800w RMS amp for those subs. Assuming they are 4 ohm DVC, look for a mono amp that puts out about 800w RMS at 1 ohm.
