yeah as of now i have a rockford power hx2 12 which is rated at 1000 rms....my problem is...it is a dual 2 ohm subwoofer so i have to run it at 4 ohms or 1 ohms...and i plan on runnin it at 1 ohm...the jl 500/1 says it puts out 500 watts at 1.5-4 ohms...but i was thiking about selling it for a Audiobahn A1300HCT which is 1 ohm stable and puts out 1200 watts at 1 ohm...i know not too many people on here like audiobahn amps but i've had good experiences wiht them...and i also knwo i doubt it will put out the whole 1200 but the sub is only 1000 rms so u think i should stick to the JL or sell that and try to get this Audiobahn...thanks
The Audiobahn only puts out 300 rms the 1200 is the rated max, If you are on a budget go for the audiobahn but I would save my money and get something bigger, if not stay with the JL
it says it puts out 300 rms at 4 ohms...i'm planning on running my speaker at 1 ohm which the amp is rated at 1200 rms....im pretty sure since its a mono amplifier 1200 or something near it will be the output power of it....not 300 rms
so u think i should try to hit the audiobahn up or keep the 500/1....im sort of leaning towards teh audiobahn because i just got rid of the audiobahn A2300HCT 2 channel amplifier and it was real powerful....but i would just like your guys opinions
