Alright I'm asking for your opinions before I make my final purchase...I can either get a 12" IdMax v.3 for $300 shipped or a 15" ava for $330 shipped. I lsiten to mostly metal and hard rock with some rap and old time rock thrown in. Both subs will go in a sealed enclosure with around 1000 watts pushing it. I pefer about 75/25 sq to spl. I prefer opinions based on listening to both subs but I appreciate all of them. Thanks for your help.
they are both fantastic subs. The ava will have more SPL in this case being a 15 over a 12. SQ is great on both of them with the IDmax being in the number 1 hole between the two. If you were comparing a ava 12 and a idmax 12 I would say get the idmax but since its a 12 vs a 15 I would have to say ava for what you are looking for.
I'm buying it from another person. I know the ava's are sold out because I called and they ruined my day with that, then I posted on here. but anyhow, any more opinions?
