Silver Member Username: Subzer0Richmond, KY USA Post Number: 498 Registered: May-05 | what model bro? I have 2 of the 600 watt models.. are these the newer ones your talking about or the models like mine? hifonics are ok amps for cheaper and I myself use a legacy amp for super cheap becuase it has a phase-out switch and a sub sonic filter built in. just depends on what you want to spend. |

Bronze Member Username: SedrickYork, Pa United states Post Number: 17 Registered: Aug-05 | oh on emore thing justin my friend kept sayin that a mono amp can only power one sub and i dont think that is true cant they power 2 |
Silver Member Username: TboltCollipark, GA Post Number: 341 Registered: Dec-04 | mono amps can power as many subs as you want them to, as long you wire the subs correctly. What about this amp. http://www.electronicgiant.net/catalog/product_info.php?manufacturers_id=20&prod ucts_id=3848&osCsid=7cc1bc6d04a94141e517e8df0b944997 |
Silver Member Username: Subzer0Richmond, KY USA Post Number: 504 Registered: May-05 | since he has 2 of those subs he'd need 2 amps at that rating wouldn't he? that's why i was looking for a higher rated one or a 1 ohm amp for them ;). |
Silver Member Username: TboltCollipark, GA Post Number: 342 Registered: Dec-04 | yeah, my bad. |
Silver Member Username: Subzer0Richmond, KY USA Post Number: 505 Registered: May-05 | ;) only reason i even noticed it myself was because i was looking in a audiobahn hookup bok that showed 2 amps lol.. i'm not with it today. |

Silver Member Username: 54danny54Post Number: 897 Registered: Nov-04 | wait man...u either gonna need an amp that half ohm stable(hard to find and inefficient) or 2 amps that put out 600 watts rms at 1 or 2 ohms. No toher way around it. U can find 2 hifonics for cheap |

Silver Member Username: TboltCollipark, GA Post Number: 345 Registered: Dec-04 | No, its 1500 watts max. You want an amp that puts out about 1200 watts rms. |

Bronze Member Username: SedrickYork, Pa United states Post Number: 22 Registered: Aug-05 | thanks that what i was plannin on doin thanks for ur time |
Silver Member Username: Iufan4lifeulLouisville, Kentucky Post Number: 306 Registered: May-05 | If they are L5's and rated at 600rms I would push 400-500 to each. That will get them moving real good but won't push them. The square kicker subs are pretty good, even though some people would disagree. I have heard them and they don't have the tight bass as the smaller eclipses/MTX/CVR/and Alpine but those squares will pound you right in the gut pretty good. |
