Hello, I have some Hi8 video tapes that are under 5 years old that have what appears to be mold growing on the reels. When I try to rewind these tapes they tear like an old roll of masking tape would, even when rewinding by hand. I would really like to be able to play these tapes just one more time in order to capture them to my computer. Is there any hope for these memories?
