I have a JVC GR-D22U and when i hook up the firewire cable nothing happens. A while ago there was no problem but recently it just doesnt work. I have also tried it on another computer but it still did not work. Any help would be nice. Thanks
Have you ever plugged the camcorder firewire cable in while the camcorder was switched on? JVC state that this can damage the camcorder's DV port (actually, even if just the PC is switched on they say it can destroy the camcorder's DV port!)
