I have been wondering what everyones take on refurbs are. I know everyone would rather buy stuff new but in some cases where you can pick up a refurb for 250 instead of 1000 is better and the only opertunity some people might have to own a kick as$ amp. The reason im asking this is this guy on another forum is selling a brand new factory refurbed Orion XTREME SERIES XTRPRO1000 1000w MONO CLASS D Amplifier for 250. Im just wondering if i should pick this up from him or not?
i treat refurbs just the same as i treat used stuff, some you get a good deal and it works fine, some you get and works great but craps out a month later
So far *crosses fingers* I have 4 products that I have bought refurb, and haven't had any problems with them, and a couple are 2 years old, so I guess it's a toss up. I've seen new stuff go bad to, but then theres the warr.
