What is the difference in the performance of bookshelf speakers with front vs rear port?

Thanks

One thing is that you can put a front ported speaker closer to the back walls.

Front ported speakers are better if your spouse wears "the pants" in the house, and she requires you to hide your speakers in livingroom cupboards or cabinets for WAF conditions.

If the 'cupboard' fits, then you might want to consider front ported speakers.

Well, it is said that front ported is easier to put closer to the wall than rear ported speaker, but thats not always the case, anyway either with a good designed port it does not matter, they both deliver the goods.

Luckily, the guy who you sent to my house must have either been a music snob, or he had no space because he didnt take a thing.

He even left the SVS and big TV.......go figure??

hahahahahaha

I'll bet he showed up in a sedan, and left in frustration because nothing would fit.

Or maybe he was single and had no space??
