My daughter wants a camcorder with which she can share miniDV tapes as she has in the past with her friends. But I think we should get a camcorder that records on memory cards. As I understand it,there is a kind of cable that makes it simple to transfer the video to another camera, miniDV type or any other. Is this true???
I'm guessing that the industry is moving toward using the memory cards as standard in the future because of the vulnerability of tapes. As a matter of fact our miniJVC is ruining new tapes and therefore doesn't work for us.
